typewrite_

A student project that refused to stay one.

Typewrite began in a screenwriting semester at NABA in Milan, where its founder, Salvatore Contino, watched an entire class of writers fight their software instead of their second acts. The tools were the same ones the industry had used for thirty years — and it showed.

The first version was built for classmates. Then their notes turned into a feature list, the feature list turned into a product, and the product turned into a conviction: whoever understands the script understands everything that comes after it — the schedule, the budget, the breakdown, the film.

Typewrite is built by Animora, a company with a larger ambition: simplifying how creative industries produce. The screenplay is the entry point, because it's where every production begins.

We're a small team with advisors from film and software, building in the open, shipping toward a public launch between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
